Yahoo intermittently throttles/delays email from the University of Houston. Yahoo has changed its security protocols and may not distinguish legitimate UH emails from malicious spam. As a result, they delay delivery until times when there is very low email traffic. In order to maintain our trusted sender status UiT has instituted controls to quickly identify mail sent from compromised accounts. Additionally UiT encourages UH offices generating large volumes of mail to adhere to best practices.
